Unlocking capacity
4 March 2014We are showcasing some of the work we have been doing on airport and airspace capacity at the World ATM Congress in Madrid.
Airspace designers, analysts and ATM experts at NATS work with some of the most complex airports and airspace anywhere in the world – nowhere else in the world are so many aircraft handled in such a constrained space as in the south east of England.
But with technological developments and working with partners such as the McLaren Applied Technologies we are finding more effective ways to utilise the data on the way that airspace is used.
Val Wilson is an expert in capacity management. In this video she explains about some of the work NATS and our partners are doing to release capacity in airports and airspace throughout the world.
