Industry events provide a useful opportunity for organisations to promote their wares and for individuals to reinforce relationships and grow their network of contacts.

NATS will be exhibiting at the CANSO World ATM Congress at the IFEMA complex in Madrid from 10 – 12 March.

Organised by trade bodies CANSO and ATCA, the event plays host to both a conference and exhibition and so promises double the benefit for exhibitors and delegates alike. For NATS, it provides the opportunity to demonstrate our commitment and success as a leading ANSP in the future of ATC as a part of alliances such as Borealis and the A6, whilst simultaneously engaging with airports and airlines to discuss their changing needs.

The main Conference will have hundreds of delegates focusing their attention on thought provoking presentations from industry leaders that include NATS Chief Executive, Richard Deakin, talking on the topic of ‘Smart Choices in a Disruptive Future’.

NATS will be showcasing a wide range of digital media set over two stands where delegates will find interactive demonstrations and specialists on hand to talk in detail about solutions such as Time Based Separation and Strategic Airport Capacity Management. There will also be representation from FerroNATS, the Spanish joint venture operating 9 towers in Spain.

Presentation theatres are an integral part of the World ATM Congress experience and feature in the main Exhibition Hall, with guest hosts leading forums on the latest trends and developments, including a panel discussion by NATS Head of SESAR Programme Delivery, Andrew Dobson.

There will be seminar sessions with Branka Subotic, Borealis Alliance Executive Director talking on Free Route Airspace and Raquel Martinez Arnaiz, Director of Safety at FerroNATS presenting on the successful transition to liberalised towers in Spain.

We are all aiming to improve air navigation services (ANS) across the globe, both on the ground and in the air, and with CANSO members supporting over 85% of the world’s air traffic these types of events go a long way to facilitating progress.
