3 September 2018What a spectacular summer it’s been here in the UK: The Royal Wedding, football so very nearly “coming home”, and of course, the long spell of hot weather that continued to stretch on in an untypically British fashion.
But unfortunately, all good things must come to an end.
It’s with a heavy heart therefore that Britons will be waving goodbye to the summer this week, as millions return to work and school with a big dose of the post-holiday blues!
Over more than 70 years, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe has showcased thousands of weird, wacky and witty performances. Founded back in 1947, it is now the world’s largest arts festival. Every August the city’s streets are filled with performers, buskers and living statues while the theatres are packed out with show after show from some of comedy’s biggest stars.
