Changes to NATS executive team

Ian Hall
NATS CEO, Richard Deakin, has today announced some changes to the NATS Executive team.
Ian Hall, Operations, Strategy & Standards Director, has decided to step down from the NATS Board with effect from today, 24th March 2011, and to take on a new part time role as Director, International Operations.
Ian will be working closely with NERL on its international impact particularly around FABs and also on NATS growth agenda.

Anne Lambert
Anne Lambert, Director, European & Government Affairs, has also decided to step down from the Executive, with effect from 1st May 2011, and work part time.
Anne will continue to provide advice and support on relations with the UK government and EU developments. She will also continue as Chair of ESSP, the satellite services company in which NATS is a shareholder together with key ANSP partners. As a consequence of these changes, Alex Bristol, currently Development and Strategy Director is set to take on a new role as NERL’s Director of International Affairs.

Alex Bristol
In this role, Alex will become the focal point for managing NERL’s relationships with other Air Navigation Service Providers and International institutions.
He will lead NERL’s Operational and Technical Development Strategy and will work in conjunction with other ANSPs to develop the European Air Traffic Management strategy.
