Princess Royal formally opens new Prestwick air traffic control centre

Posy for a Princess: Ten-year-old Sophie Lafferty makes HRH’s day at the formal opening of the NATS Prestwick air traffic control centre in Ayrshire earlier today (fri).
The £180m Prestwick Centre controls just under half of the UK’s air traffic in controlled airspace and became fully operational at the end of last month.
